CUC offers fully funded, no-cost programs, and paid work placements, designed to help you build skills, gain experience, and move toward employmentâespecially if youâre not sure where to start or need the right support to get there.

CUC offers multiple ways to build skills and move toward employment:
đš Work-Based Learning (WBL)
Real placements with local employers
đš Work Simulation (WS)
Structured, hands-on environments to build skills and confidence

Paid job placements to help you transition into the workforce
Featured Pathway: Residential Construction

Simulated construction site in St. Albert
Learn carpentry, framing, tools, and safety protocols
Earn 150 Apprenticeship Blue Book hours
Pathway toward Red Seal trade certification
Capstone project: build a real framed structure
