Poplar Hills Golf Club is looking for part-time help for our Back Nine Golf Simulator location.

Shifts will vary based on availability, with the potential to turn into part time work at the golf course upon opening in the spring. The ideal candidate will be able to work evenings & weekends. Full training will be provided.

Serving It Right required, must be 19+ as there is a requirement to work behind the bar.

Doubles League Information

We are starting our doubles league this week. However we are doing things a little different this season. We have 14 teams registered, which means 7 matches a week. We have had a lot of requests on certain teams only playing certain nights. So we have a sign up sheet every week for you to choose your own league slot.

You will not play the same team every week, we will still have a proper schedule and standings, you will just print your scorecard and we will take care of the rest.

This allows some teams with the flexibility to pick and choose their own night. Can't make it on one of the certain nights, they can be completed on a weekend or at another time with no issue.

Want to golf with the same group every week? This allows for that.

The time slots we have allocated, are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. From 5:00PM - 7:30PM OR 7:30PM - 10:00PM.

We are running one league, right through until the end of March. 13 weeks of regular match play, followed by playoffs. The league fees this year are $100/team, and it is $40/team per week.

The Poplar Hills Golf & Country Club would like to send out a huge shout out to Jason Morey from Gasfield for stopping his golf game to get the Clubhouse running with generator power on Friday!!! A huge thank you to Shawn Lee and Giles Schindler for providing generators and helping with getting us going. With these men’s help we were able to do our normal Friday Night steak fry!!!!!

The Poplar Hills Golf and  Country Club is accepting resumes for the following positions: Grounds staff, Pro Shop staff and Bar/restaurant staff.

These positions are dependent on funding from the Canada summer program. Employees must be willing to commit to a 16 week employment program.
