Last week, the Acden Environment team had a fantastic time at the BOMA Edmonton + North Golf Tournament at the Quarry Golf Club .

Thank you to BOMA for organizing another great event and providing an opportunity to connect with so many familiar faces from across the industry.

It's always valuable to strengthen relationships and enjoy some time outside the office.

And once again, our purple bucket hats proved to be a crowd favourite - they disappeared from our table in no time! 💜

Today, we recognize Moose Hide Campaign Day, an Indigenous-led movement dedicated to ending gender-based violence and creating safer communities for women, children and all people.

The campaign began in British Columbia and has grown into a nationwide movement grounded in awareness, healing and reconciliation.

As part of our participation this year, we are sending Moose Hide pins and information cards to all our employees to encourage learning and meaningful conversations across our organization.

We’re proud to share a story that goes beyond business. Through a unique initiative, a portion of vending machine sales from an Acden Base Operates Aerodrome Site was contributed to the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, helping fund education opportunities for its members.
