One prayer.

Sometimes that is enough.

Courage is not the absence of fear.
Courage is taking the next step even when you are afraid.
Whatever lies before you today, may you remember that you do not walk alone.

The summer sky has a way of slowing us down.
The birds sing.
The breeze moves through the trees.
The light lingers.
Sometimes prayer begins simply by noticing what is already beautiful.

Pay attention to one small act of kindness today.
A smile.
A phone call.
A helping hand.
The world is changed more often by quiet love than by grand gestures.

Some days we come to church full of faith.
Some days we come with questions.
Most days, we come with both.
The good news is that God welcomes us anyway.
You do not have to have it all figured out to belong here.

Not every act of faith is dramatic.

Sometimes faith looks like checking in on a neighbour.
Sometimes it looks like listening deeply to someone who is hurting.
Sometimes it looks like offering kindness when it would be easier not to.

The world is changed not only by grand gestures but by countless small acts of compassion.

This week, may we be people who carry light into the places that need it most.

One small act of love at a time.

Today we pause to give thanks.

For neighbours who care.
For family and friends.
For moments of laughter.
For meals shared around a table.
For beauty that surprises us when we least expect it.

Gratitude does not erase life's challenges, but it reminds us that grace is still present.
