It is with great sadness we have learned of the passing of one of our former directors, Rita Haritun on Sunday, June 14th. She acted as Treasurer for several years and her tireless enthusiasm carried us through a period of growth and help lay a foundation on which we continue to grow. Our condolences go out to her husband, Dimitri and their sons and families.
QUILTING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our quilting group is looking for more ladies to help with hand-quilting. If you would like to learn hand-stitching, we can help. We are a relaxed group who attend as our schedules allow. Some come early, some come later. We do quilt repairs also but we do not create quilt tops. We do the hand-stitching and also binding if requested. And we like to share our personal projects with each other whatever they may be. Funds raised support operating expenses for the museum.
So if you might have some time on Thursdays, you will find us at our Feversham site at 315 Mill Bridge Road. Message if you have questions.
