A couple of new weavers were created in the studio today, and a couple of lovely rugs were woven! Look at those beautiful edges! We had a very impressive little helper drop by for a bit too! Altogether a fun and productive day!

First workshop of the year. Needlefelt a sheep face. Everyone had a blast and went home with finished portraits.

I just finished weaving this scarf on my rigid heddle loom. It’s pretty cool what you can accomplish with these looms!

Good day fibre friends! While we normally open our doors to the studio for drop-ins visitors and like- minded crafters on Wednesday evenings, due to the weather we will cancelling tonight.

Look at what’s going on in the studio this weekend! Weaving a krokbragd rug on the floor loom, band weaving using just a heddle and your body, and sewing mittens! Classes for the weaving are available anytime. Please reach out if you’re interested. Mittens are available for sale- $45. They are handmade, fleece lined, and wool on the outside. Perfect for this crazy cold!
