Hello Fibre Friends! Hope you’re enjoying this chilly afternoon - I am contemplating the paperwork that I could be doing….or can admire the lovely works you send pictures of every day. Hmmmm, which option won out….
So here’s a photo from our friend Yvette, a regular in the yarn-show scene! She also happens to be a Yarnie Superhero - when she was at Fergus Fibre Festival and we had to close early due to the wind storm, Yvette single handedly held down my tent once all the weights were removed, as we tried to close it up and pack it away. She hung from the centre, holding it down and chanting the mantra: not today wind, you will not take me! (The entertainment value was most excellent!)
Anyhoo, she had purchased some of our DARK & STORMY SKIES and is on her way to creating a lovely piece…could it be a Sophie Scarf? Let us know Yvette! (I also just enjoy typing Yvette’s as there’s a very pleasing consonant to vowel ratio happening…hey, consonants provide the percussiveness of speech)
(Also, just an fyi, “Y” is a part time consonant when appearing at the beginning of a word, or so I’m told)

Good morning Fibre Friends!
What a cool, glorious summer day. Even if I can’t dye right now, for the next month or two while I recover, it’s nice to just enjoy seeing all the wonderful things YOU make! (Yes, I’m living my stitch life vicariously through you)
Our Fibre Friend Suzan has paired together some of our colourways that just look stunning! (Please send us pics of what you do - it’s so inspiring!). She is doing some colourwork with our 80/20 SW Merino sock with the colours STARLING (teal) and CLERIC (speckled white)…I’m dying to see how it all turns out! Beautiful work.
What pattern is that Suzan?

Good Morning Fibre Friends!
I’m sipping my coffee, petting Bear with my foot and going through my messages, socials, pictures etc and realized - WHY didn’t I post about our friend Germaine’s beautiful sweater that she completed!?!?!
Ok, Germaine - what was this pattern!?! I know you did it with our 100% SW Merino DK in “Bunny Nibbled Magnolias” and “Sea Grass”….but I forgot the pattern name. (I should really start writing these things down!!! It had a very cool bind for the fold over collar)
I know she’ll get back to me but for now, let’s admire her handwork and that smile as she enjoys the fruits of her labour! Germaine loves that green/purple combo (not the first time she’s paired it in a sweater) and I think she looks MARVELLOUS! Well done G!

Good morning Fibre Friends! Just finishing my coffee and contemplating browns as I gaze into my coffee cup….which reminded me of this Fibre Friend who dropped by our booth at the Fergus Fibre Festival! They popped in to show me the wonderful shawl they made with an experimental brown that I had done some time ago on our sock weight….it was a true Champurrado brown that I loved…I think this fall I will expand my browns selection and bring it back! Does anyone recognize the pattern? Or the knitter and we can ask her (it was so windy and rainy and everyone was bundled that I lost track of who I spoke to!)
Thanks so much for sharing…and coming out on that crazy, rainy day!
It’s great to know that your yarn can “play well with others!”
Our Fibre Friend stopped by at the Fergus Fibre Festival to show us how well our pink CHRISTMAS CACTUS sock 80/20 SW Merino went with a yarn she had in her stash to make this super hot-on-trend Dragonfly Sweater….i just may have to make this myself! In all the hubbub of wind and rain, I forgot to ask which yarn was the green….?
Thanks for sharing!

Hey Fibre Friends!
I can’t believe it’s been over a week since that crazy weather day of the Fergus Fibre Festival (every day since has been sunshine and fair weather 😡)….so much has happened that I hadn’t gotten the chance to post some of the few pictures I managed to take of you guys - my Fibre Friends! You came in so many beautiful knits and crochets, and I loved seeing every single one! And in between gusts of wind and the wonderful crowd, I even managed to take a few photos!
This lovely lady came wearing the Rununculus pattern in our BARBARIAN D&D sock weight, 80/20 SW Merino….and wow! What a statement piece. Bold and beautiful, she’s letting her inner barbarian shine! Such a beautiful job and she’s gotten lotsa wear out of it already!
Thank you so much for sharing your work - it’s the best part of my day!
