Body Mechanik
Body Mechanik is treatment aimed to help your body heal itself. She discovered osteopathy during her undergrad studies.
Amanda is a University of Waterloo graduate currently attending the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, in her third year. Currently classified as a Manual Rehabilitative Therapist Amanda is excited by the way the body was able to heal itself and the only apparatus she needed were her hands. Amanda is enthusiastic to be able to use the body’s anatomy and physiology to create individualized treatments based on what her patients need.

“Osteopathy is not a system, it is a truth.” – Andrew Taylor Still
Osteopathy is based on the understanding that the body is deeply connected and designed to heal, adapt, and function as a whole.
Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, it looks at how structure and function work together — and how restoring balance can support the body’s natural ability to recover and regulate itself.
It is not just a set of techniques, but a way of understanding the body and its capacity for health when given the right conditions.

Osteopathic care can help support comfort and ease through simple, gentle techniques focused on how the body is moving and adapting after birth.
This may include support for:
• feeding comfort and positioning
• tummy comfort and relaxation
• ease of movement through the neck and body
• overall balance after birth
Every session is calm, gentle, and follows the baby’s pace 🤍

Did you know that posture affects more than just how you stand? It’s a foundation for how your entire body functions. When we spend long hours at a desk or behind a wheel, the strain goes deeper than just a "sore back."
Poor posture can be the hidden culprit behind:
- Persistent tension headaches
- Shallow breathing or feeling "tight" in the chest
- Unexpected digestive discomfort
- General fatigue and low energy levels
Osteopathy doesn’t just tell you to "sit up straight."
We look at the way your body moves as a whole to release the tension that’s holding you back.
