Dear Clients,

Please be advised that we are no longer able to accept payments for your direct bill insurance policies. In the past we have accepted payment in person-cash, cheque, debit payment and e-transfer payments. We are no longer able to accept these payment on your behalf as we have no way of getting payments to the insurance companies in a timely fashion, due to the state of Canada Post and their levels of service.
If you are direct bill, you may set your insurance company up as a payee with your online banking. You may make a credit card payment with them directly as well. If you need assistance to get this set up, please do not hesitate to call the office and we will be glad to assist and answer any questions you may have.

FACT- There are certain dog breeds that may not be covered by your homeowners policy...

🐾Wherever you fall on the debate about dog breeds, some may be considered too aggressive for certain insurance companies on the market. Always DOUBLE-CHECK your policy if you have (or are thinking about getting) one of these TOP QUESTION-MARK breeds:
- Pit Bulls.
- Rottweilers.
- Staffordshire Terriers.
- German Shepherds.
- Great Danes

🐾Here are a few tips we can keep in mind to help reduce the chances of an unwanted situation happening between our dogs and others:
1. Never leave a child alone with a dog.
2. Avoid petting dogs that are not yours. We know it’s tempting!
3. Don’t give treats to unfamiliar dogs.
4. Teach children how to play gently with dogs, as well as how to approach dogs in a non-confrontational manner.
5. Do not encourage your dog to play aggressively.
6. Keep your dog on a leash when taking them for a walk. Always.
7. Remove your dog from the situation if it snarls, bears its teeth, or barks heavily.
8. Generally just avoid situations you know could make your dog uncomfortable or anxious.
