Junior Division Board Announcement

Our Board had tried to avoid this outcome, but circumstances have made it impossible. Due to outside pressure our highpoint champion has decided to give up the saddle. This has forced us to reevaluate the Junior division as a whole. With her giving up the highpoint she now has to be taken out of the finals completely. This is more than just the highpoint award to our association. It affects all 23 junior contestants not just 1. We have to award the prizes to all of the contestants as if she did not compete. There are prizes for Barrels and Poles, as well as payout each day. We have contacted all of the new placings and are working towards the prizes being awarded to the appropriate contestants. We look forward to the cooperation of all parties involved.

We will be mailing cheques to those that would have been allocated more due to the placing changes.

Since our board was not notified prior to the finals when this members age was questioned we were not able to avoid the circumstances that we are in now. This member was not qualified in the higher age group so she is not able to be placed in it either. We ask our members to please bring any concerns to the board so that we can have all information and make informed decisions ahead of time before there is an issue. Please do not go behind the boards back and attempt to fix them yourself.

We appreciate our sponsors, hosts and members and we hope to continue to have successful finals in the future.

We need our hosts or we don’t have a finals!
Any member showing disrespect to a host in any manner. Be it foul language, altercations, quarreling, intimidation or otherwise will be reported to the Board of Directors in the following manner:
1. First offence – letter of reprimand
2. Second offence – fine
3. Third offence – suspension of membership

Zero tolerance to physical and verbal abuse to another person.
Zero tolerance to bullying of any person.

Remember …. treat everyone as you would like to be treated!

We would also like to add our AGM is in
January. All members are welcome to attend to voice their concerns, share new ideas and become board members themselves.

From our beautiful photographer and member Rebecca Forgham ❤️

There’s something about the days after an event that makes you stop for a minute and really reflect. ❤️
When the dust settles and the trailers head home, we all get to remember the things that mattered most.
We remember the victories. 🏆
We remember the runs that made us grin from ear to ear.
We remember the moments that didn’t go quite how we planned and the things we’re already saying we’ll do better next year.
We remember the friends we made, the people who cheered us on, and the things we overcame along the way.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what this barrel racing world is really about.
It’s about all of us showing up in the same place, sharing the love we have for this sport, our horses, our families, and each other. It’s about celebrating the good runs, picking each other up after the tough ones, and making memories along the way. ❤️🐎
I absolutely loved being behind the scenes at the Northern Redneck Riders Finals. Getting to capture the real moments, the excitement, the nerves, the celebrations, the laughs, and everything in between , was such a privilege.
A HUGE shoutout to everyone who came together to make this event what it was. The competitors, families, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and everyone who put in the work behind the scenes! It takes all of you to make an event like this happen.
I’m already looking forward to next year, and I truly hope I get the opportunity to be back behind the scenes with you all again. ❤️
Now, a quick reminder for everyone wanting their memories:
📸 IMAGES: Galleries are still live and available to order, but the cutoff is August 23rd. If there are images you’ve been meaning to grab, don’t wait!
🎥 VIDEOS: Video orders must be placed through my Video Order Poster. I will NOT be posting video previews, but I promise there are some good ones in there! 😍
Thank you, Northern Redneck Riders, for an incredible weekend. What a way to finish it off. 🖤🐎
Until next year… keep chasing those cans. ❤️

Thank you so much Fairview Ag Society for the donation of their tractor this weekend! 🙌

Also featuring one of our directors Kalissa Jorda who ran her run and jumped right onto the tractor when we needed it ☺️
