Cam The Rigger
This page will show you some of the work we do at Fogh Marine. We like what we do and I hope that it shows.
Cam has been the Rigging Specialist at Fogh Marine for several years. He is passionate about serving the boating community in the Greater Toronto Area and will help you choose the correct line or wire to suit your needs. He has received training from Samson, Marlow, and Harken in addition to his years of experience as a sailor and rigger in our shop.

Considering how many sets of rigging we see at Marine, we don’t see many of these. Back stay adjuster bridle stud. If you see a crack like this on your standing rigging, go buy a lottery ticket. You’re lucky it didn’t fail.

Customer complained that the line wouldn’t hold in the cleat. Two speed main sheet on a 37’ boat. Sheet was 5/8” diameter. After years of running line that is too big for their gear the cleat was very worn. We replaced the cleat and right sized the line. I expect that it will play out much easier. And the cleat will be able to hold.

A sad Wayfarer halyard came in. New, all rope replacement is ready to go. Along with a replacement acetal mast head sheave.

The power of tape! One end spliced. One end stitched and taped. I would never imagine that it would hold. Running backs on a 25’ keel boat. New owner, rightly, wants them replaced. Is this a or a testament to electrical tape?
I had to see what was under the tape.
