Jimothy may enjoy dumpster diving... but he's leaving the fire safety to the professionals. 😉

Stay safe, stay prepared, and remember—it's always cooler to prevent a fire than to meet your local firefighters because of one!

Sometimes, our firefighters suit up for things other than fire calls!

From fuel and chemical leaks to unknown substances and other hazardous materials, our team is trained to respond safely and protect our community!

Those big blue suits might look like they're headed to the moon…but they're actually helping keep everyone here safe!

Hazmat calls require specialized training, equipment, and teamwork. While they may not happen every day, we're always ready when they do.

Because protecting our community means being prepared for more than just fires.

Members of the Estevan Fire Department had the pleasure of visiting Sacred Heart School last week for one of our favourite annual traditions, the last day of school spray down!

We are grateful to Sacred Heart School for welcoming us each year and allowing us to be a small part of such a fun day!

We wish all students, staff, and families a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break.

12 of Estevan Fire Rescue’s newest members are in the classroom this weekend working towards their NFPA Hazardous Materials Awareness certification. This is the first step in obtaining their NFPA 1001 Professional Firefighter Qualifications.

With the recent snowfall we’ve experienced please make sure all outside vents on your home are kept clear of snow and ice! If your CO alarm goes off, exit your home and call 911.

Did you know that members of Estevan Fire Rescue train every week? Every Tuesday evening our members train to ensure that the skills required to do our jobs are always fresh! This week we started on ropes and knots and will continue this training into March.

On Saturday, members of Estevan Fire Rescue participated in a shoot with fellow emergency services members at the Estevan Archery Club for the Junior Olympic Program. Thanks to Travis and the club for having us out!
