Thank you for being here and for supporting Cruz and his family during an incredibly difficult time.

Cruz (Little Warrior Cruz) has been diagnosed with Galloway-Mowat syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that requires ongoing specialized medical care and therapies. His family is dedicated to ensuring he has access to the treatments, appointments, and support he needs to give him the best possible quality of life.

This online auction has been created to help ease the financial burden that comes with caring for a child with complex medical needs. All proceeds will go directly toward costs associated with Cruz’s care, including therapies, medical travel, accommodations, appointments, specialized equipment, and other related expenses.

The auction will take place on this page July 10–12. Bidding begins at 11:00 AM on July 10 and closes at 12:00 PM on July 12.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. A little bit of what I’ve been up to lately!

This week I’ve started working through the online portion of a perinatal massage course before I head to Regina next month for the hands on training! 🤍

Pre + post natal massage has always been one of my favourite types of treatment to provide. There’s something really special about being able to support women through such a huge transition in their lives.

While all RMTs receive training in prenatal massage during school, I’ve wanted to dive deeper into this area for quite a while.

I already see many expecting and postpartum moms in my practice, and every one of them reminds me how important it is to have a space where you can feel comfortable, cared for, and supported. Pregnancy asks so much of the body, and I love being able to help ease some of those aches, pains, and stresses along the way.

As someone who genuinely enjoys learning, I’m always looking for ways to better serve the people who trust me with their care. I’m excited to bring new knowledge and skills back to the treatment room and continue growing in this area of practice.

To all my current and future moms to be: I can’t wait to support you through your journey. 🤍✨

When I first became a massage therapist, I thought being “good” meant knowing everything, learning every technique, and having all the answers.

The longer I do this, the more I realize while these things are helpful in certain circumstances, they usually aren’t what actually matters. I learn this the more I dive down the pain science rabbit hole.

People want to feel heard. They want to feel comfortable. They want to feel like they’re being treated as a person.

Still learning every day, but I think that’s kind of the point 🤍
