In Jiu-Jitsu, learning isn't about getting everything right the first time. It's about experimenting, adjusting, and finding solutions through experience.
The athletes who improve the fastest aren't afraid to fail, they use failure as feedback.
One of the biggest mistakes people make in Jiu-Jitsu is focusing only on moves. Instead of memorizing techniques, we try to understand the concepts behind them. In this clip, the goal isn't the leg drag itself.
The goal is to clear the knees, control the hips, and get chest-to chest. Once you understand those concepts, there are countless ways to achieve the same result.
Jiu-Jitsu becomes much easier when you stop chasing techniques and start understanding the problems you're trying to solve.
Moves change. Principles don't.
