Farming Forward - WCFA (who Yellowhead County's Agricultural Services regularly partners with on educational and other ag related workshops) is hosting two unique events coming up August 26 & 27 with Dr. Bart Lardner. Make sure to check the locations and sign up if you want to attend.
This event is not a partner in this event but it may be of interest to Yellowhead County Ag producers and residents.

Is corn the right fit for your winter feeding program?

Join GRO and Farming Forward for an afternoon in the field as we explore local corn research and compare practical silage systems for cow-calf operations.

Tour GRO's corn variety trial, visit a local producer's operation, and wrap up with a walk-and-talk through Farming Forward's Silage Systems project with Dr. Bart Lardner and Byron Long. Learn how different silage systems compare for forage quality, feed value, and supplementation needs!

🍽️ Dinner is included, with plenty of time to ask questions and connect with fellow producers.

📅 August 26 | 2:30-8:30 p.m.
🚌 Bus departs from the Barrhead Agrena.
