First Fridays Open Stage

It's that time once again, good people of Edmonton. The famous (and sometimes infamous) FIRST FRIDAYS OPEN STAGE is upon us. Bring your guitars, your flutes, your tunes, your poems, yourselves above all!

This coming Friday, May first, FFOS shall hold court in the south annex lower hall of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Old Strathcona. Sign ups for artists start at 7 PM. The show begin at 7:30.

No price for admission. Beer, wine, pop, water and snacks on sale for those so inclined.

Like writing songs? Playing covers? Or reading aloud your enchanting poetry? Perhaps you even think you're funny and have worked up a comedy routine. Well, don't be shy! Come on down to the next First Fridays Open Stage at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Old Strathcona.

Only it won't be the First Friday in April, because that's Good Friday and this is a church after all. So we'll hold our open stage on Friday, April 10th. Performer registrations open at 7 PM. The show gets underway at 7:30 and we're all wrapped up by 10.

Our audiences are friendly and enthusiastic about supporting the talent that shows up. There's no admission charge and we do have beer and wine, pop, mineral water and snacks on sale.

We have a good sound system and an even better audio tech. So take a chance - it might even be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
