These colorful Tula Pink fabrics just pop on the dark grey! This job was a first for me - 2 panels quilted without batting so they can be used as curtains. What a great idea!

Sandhill Sling on the horizon!!

A friend and I made a trip to today and I picked out some waxed canvas and hardware needed.

I'm excited to start but first I'll finish the quilt I'm working on!

Today we got a beautiful hint of spring with warmth and sunshine - kinda like this quilt ☀️ I'm definitely itching for the snow to melt and to start seeing the earth come to life again!

Sometimes a coloured thread is exactly what a quilt needs! I usually go for neutral and blending threads so the quilting doesn't over power the quilt but every once in a while a quilt calls for something more exciting!

Happy Saturday! It's a good week when you get to quilt for your sister 🩵 Love the light change of the fabrics! We used bamboo batting and it's so soft and drapey. Perfect for cuddling!
