ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the conditions of the site this year, I have made a difficult decision to not participate in the Artisan Market.

With the heavy amount of rainfall the site has had it created a very unpleasing landscape. Plus with the forecast for the weekend I felt overwhelmed by what was to come and how we could manage showcasing our clothing in this setting.

I am sorry to those of you who were looking forward to visiting us and supporting us this weekend. We will miss seeing your faces.

Please make sure to support the artisan vendors this weekend. Everyone had to make this tough decision!

The site crew worked very hard to try to accommodate everyone with their needs. In the end it was an individual decision to make.

For those of you that are local I hope you can visit my shop one day soon. Or find me at the Strathearn Art Walk and festival next month.

The LAURA tank, crafted from cotton, features a low scoop neckline front and back with a charming bell shape.

If you have been a long time Sabrina Butterfly collector/admirer you might own a pair or two of these in a stretch denim, velveteen, corduroy or cotton. Recently we revisited these capri/pants and decided to create more, especially after we found a wonderful Ramie fabric to make them in.

“Ramie is a renewable plant fibre that’s derived from a plant in the nettle family. It is biodegradable, making it sustainable compared to synthetic, oil-based fabrics!

The fibres are slubby which gives Ramie an appearance similar to linen. Ramie is reportedly “twice as strong” as Linen, one of the strongest natural fibres and even stronger when wet! “

In ONE week we will be setting up our booth at Prince’s Island Park in Calgary for the Calgary Folk Music Festival. The festival takes place July 23-26!

We are jumping for JOY, as this festival is dear to our heart ❤️. It’s been over 20+ years that we have been a vendor at this Art Market and we look forward to being there every year!
