"My favourite arts class has to be Psych 104. It's the reason behind my love for people and how they think. It's what started me wanting to pursue a career in marketing, but with a twist - taking a non-business elective as my minor (psychology). Being able to take a major within the school if business and a minor outside of it has most definitely given me a different perspective as I am able to look from the inside out and vice versa. I think it's great that Students can take their degrees in all sorts of directions and I am ecstatic I have chosen to do so!"

"A regular day: I left my home in the morning, it was raining red fish. Ten clowns were dancing in the street and collecting the fallen fish. Sharply dressed teddy bears were driving their cars towards a volcano. The wheels of their cars were made from the sun. On my way to work, cannons were shooting stars for the pink rabbits to eat from. Flying whales were kissing the sky and feeling warm under cotton candy clouds. Nothing interesting, just a regular day till I decided to open a small door and jump from it earth. there I started to be creative because it is never again a regular day."

"The electricity in Syria is available 2 hours a day. Though, darkness sometimes brings creativity and might draw a smile. Lightless nights in Syria and many other places in the world inspired me to catch this photo of a lemon slice in front of a candle light."

"I started my first year of university (at Macewan) in the arts. One of my favourite classes was an introductory sociology course. Learning about population health trends captivated me, because of this course I realized my true passion- nursing. I am now going into my last year of nursing and am completely in love with my career path. I honestly owe this to my first year at university in the arts, it helped me discover my interests."
