How to Talk to Young Kids About Scary and Violent News The four most important things parents can do to help explain scary events to your children without causing them stress.

As some of you might know, I made a couple big decisions last month, in fact, a month ago today was the day that I turned the page to a new chapter. I saw some changes happening at work that I knew would effect my happiness, and in turn, that of my family. The problem was, I didn't really have a plan of what to do next.

A couple months previous to that day, I had joked with a friend that we should run away and take the training to be kids yoga teachers, it looked like so much fun and we both loved our yoga practices. Well, this was my chance. I just quit my job, why not? So, I spent an amazing three days in Calgary training with 8 other women to become YogaKid Apprentices, my mind was spinning the whole time with ideas, and at the end I signed up to continue with the training and work to complete it by January. This was the birth of Wondering Path. My driven and supportive husband basically built the back end of my business in a week and now it's up to me to make this happen.
In the new year Wondering Path (me) will be offering classes for kids ages, 3 and up and in the meantime I will be looking for guinea pigs to teach so I can get my certification. If you have kids, or have access to kids, I will be contacting you.
