As of August 31 2021, The Movement Lab has closed it’s doors permanently due to the damages sustained from COVID19.
This decision was not made lightly, and after exhausting our options, it is clear that shutting the doors is our only option.
Our hearts weigh heavy, mourning the passing of a space that has housed so many personal achievements, fond memories, and close friendships. But it isn’t the space that made this place special, It was the people in it.
This was a community of welcoming smiles, hard work, inspiration, and laughter. It was a safe space to do challenging things in the name of working on yourself from a place of love - and it was a group of people to support you through the hard times.
There are no words that does it justice, there are only actions. We ask that those of you who loved what we had here at the Lab do it justice by continuing your journey of health and wellness, in the name of wanting the best for yourself and others.
Thank you all so much for your continuous support during the hard times, and thank you to our amazing Lab team who worked to keep everyones spirits high. We are so sad to see the Lab end, but we are so grateful we were able to have the last five years.
Thank you everyone for giving us the honour of being your coaches, it was such a rewarding chapter of our lives that we will look back on fondly. This chapter is ending, but a new one is starting for all of us. It will be scary, but you are ready for it, and good things will come.

Summer time can be a lot of fun, but also a huge challenge for some of us. It can be hard to balance summer time shenanigans with health goals. 🍏🍎
This yo yo ride can be exhausting and disheartening - but we are here to tell you that you can have a fun summer without declining in your health.🌞🌞🌞
We can help you find habits to keep you level so when summertime ends, you don't feel like you are starting all over again and you can keep making progress forward, when the time is right.✅

That is right everyone!
Finally, after so much time, we are returning to...normal?.. why does it feel so weird then?!
This transition is going to feel different for everyone. Here at the Lab we are trying to support each other by helping our members find what is comfortable for them.
We have members who are super comfortable and ready to slap sweaty high fives and share chalk blocks.. and others who still cringe at the though of it.
Our coaches are committed to helping people adjust workouts so that they feel comfortable. 💯
This could look like changing movements up so you stay away from being too close to others, or even taking your workout outside. ⛱☀️😎
The key in these kinds of transitions is strong communication and meeting each other half way. 👏🏻

What do you think most of our members fitness goals are? 🤔🤔

That's right - their primary goals aren't necessarily to look a certain way, or lift a certain weight (although those goals are okay too if you have them!). Most of us want to be healthier physically 💪🏼, mentally 🧠, and emotionally for life and our families. 👨👨👧👧👨👩👧👨👧👧👩👧👦👩👩👧

We balance our program to keep it as sustainable as possible so that you can make progress long term and have very little bumps in the road along the way. 🔥

How have you changed? 🧐🧐
Let’s face it, the last ✌🏻 years have changed us all in different ways. For some it’s subtle, and for others it’s maybe more intense.
It’s common for your motivational structures to shift and rattle with all of these changes, you could be feeling more motivated than ever, or you could feel stuck in the mud. 👁
No matter what camp you fall in - it is SO important to check in with yourself and identify what has changed. Who are you now? What is important for you? How are you going to shift focus and stay focused? How are you going to remind yourself when things get tough?💫✨☄️
These are not easy questions to ask yourself, it’s good to have people close who are in your corner to help you figure it all out.
