Our purpose is to promote the conservation and preservation of Milkw**d and the Monarch butterfly population in North America thru Micro-environmentalism.

Our main goal at this time is to create a network of sustainable Monarch Butterfly Habitat Stations that contain local species of milkw**d (the only plant that Monarchs will lay their eggs on) through a consortium of volunteers, land stake holders, and city-based initiatives. Our secondary goal is to provide insight and education on the Monarch by encouraging those in the community to report on Mo

Let me know if you need some. 😎

The iconic Monarch butterfly is now officially an endangered species in North America. 🦋😔

Among the causes of their steep decline, the lack of milkw**d (their caterpillar's host plant and exclusive food source) in undeniably the main one and by far. Together, we can reverse this course. Together, we can plant milkw**d seeds and give monarchs a much needed breather.

Fall is the best season to plant milkw**d. Our cold winters create physical and chemical reactions in milkw**d seeds and increase their germination rates the following Spring. 🌱

You can order milkw**d seeds now from our partner Lasclay (a great company by the way) on the link below and get an exclusive 20% discount with the following code: MONARCH20

It's a small but very useful gesture, plus it makes a great gift for your loved ones!

Monarchs will surely thank you for it by paying you a visit next Spring 🦋🧡💪

🌱 Pods today… seeds tomorrow.
The cycle is moving forward, and soon we’ll have seeds ready to share.
From pod to seed, from leaf to wing. 🦋✨

The best way to attract swallowtails to your garden is to plant their host plants!

Herbicides and insecticides are part of the Monarchs problem

🛑 Spraying for Mosquitoes is a Scam
• Collateral Damage – Those sprays don’t just kill mosquitoes. They wipe out dragonflies, bees, and butterflies — the very creatures that naturally keep mosquito numbers in check.
• Short-Lived Effect – Chemical sprays only reduce mosquitoes temporarily, while destroying the ecosystem that balances them long-term.
• Better Solutions – Encourage dragonflies, bats, and native birds by creating habitats with water features, pollinator plants, and avoiding pesticides.
• Nature Knows Best – Healthy ecosystems regulate themselves. By protecting pollinators and predators, you get stronger, natural mosquito control — no toxins required.

💚 Choose balance, not chemicals. Protect pollinators, protect yourself.

🤞🌱 More exciting news—fingers crossed! 🦋

It’s shaping up to be an incredible season for milkw**d diversity at Leaf2Wing!
If all goes well, I’ll be collecting seeds from Low Milkw**d—a beautiful variety with soft yellow blooms.

That would bring us to FOUR different types of milkw**d we may be able to offer this fall:
🌼 Low Milkw**d (yellow blooms) – hopefully!
🤍 White Swamp Milkw**d
💗 Pink (fuchsia?) Showy Milkw**d
🌸 Cinderella Swamp Milkw**d (rosy-pink blooms)

Each type plays its part in helping monarchs and other pollinators thrive—and I can’t wait to share them with you!

📦 As always, our seeds are free, no strings attached.
🦋 You plant them. Together, we help the monarch migration continue.

Also love Painted Lady’s ….must be a sucker for underdog plants as they use thistle.

🦋 Butterflies & Caterpillars of North America
Get familiar with the garden guests fluttering around and the crawlers munching on leaves!

• Monarchs and Viceroys look alike, but only one mimics
• Swallowtails show bold stripes in both life stages
• Red Admirals and Painted Ladies migrate long distances
• Sulphurs and Cabbage Whites are common in veggie gardens
• Fritillaries, Skippers, and Anglewings blend beautifully into forest edges
• Knowing both forms helps support native species in your garden

🐛 Spotting caterpillars helps you protect pollinators while gardening naturally!

Just a little more Milkw**d 😎

What a waste of taxpayer money when we could be helping out the pollinators.

🌍🦋 The Monarch’s Journey is in Trouble

Each year, millions of monarch butterflies set out on a migration so extraordinary it spans thousands of miles. But in recent decades, their numbers have plummeted.

Loss of habitat. Pesticides and Herbicides over usage. Climate change. These threats are unraveling a migration that has lasted for generations. Without milkw**d—the only plant where monarchs lay their eggs—their young have nowhere to grow, and the cycle breaks.

At Leaf2Wing, our mission is simple: get native milkw**d back into as many yards, gardens, and green spaces as possible. Every plant matters. Every seed counts.

📦 We send free milkw**d seeds, no strings attached.
🌱 You plant them.
🦋 Together, we give monarchs a fighting chance.

🌱🦋 Free Seeds, No Strings! 🦋🌱

Our free milkw**d 🐛 seed program is as simple as it sounds — and we mean it!
We don’t record your name, we don’t keep a list — we just use your return envelope to mail the seeds. That’s it.

Our only goal? To help propagate milkw**d 🐛 and give monarchs more places to thrive.
No hidden agenda. No strings attached. Just a little envelope of possibility headed your way. 💌🌿

Let’s keep it growing! 🌼
