Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day and National Indigenous History Month. This day means a lot to me as the Indigenous Culture and Teachings for the way of life relates to how I was raised as a child. My grandparents meant everything to me as they guided my through life and to learn more about the Indigenous 7 Grandfather Teachings that display’s concepts of abiding by a moral respect for all living things. The 7 Grandfather Teachings speak about living with humility, respect, unconditional love, virtue, honesty, courage, and sharing wisdom. This is a recipe for building great communities and intimate family values.
