Last November, we presented preliminary results from our fasted vs fed exercise training study at Diabetes Canada annual meeting. Initial results show that time in range was increased (75% -> 80%) WHILE AT THE SAME TIME overnight hyper and hypoglycaemia was reduced on days when participants exercised in a fasted state when compared to days they did not exercise. These results suggest that exercising before breakfast leads to improve glycemic management in the daytime AND overnight periods! We look forward to presenting updated results and to more participants joining for winter 2026.
