Somedays it gets tough, but keep pushing, keep grinding it will pay off one day..
Keep believing in yourself and your abilities.
One step at a time. Keep the dream alive.
Mahawa, a senior member of the ruling Government is on the rampage bashing at anyone speaking againts the Bondo Society.
Yes, it is an age old traditional society but that does not dispute the fact that it is a harmful practice and all we are saying is keep the tradition bl00dless.
In her own words, "whatever regards to bondo society is discussed in the bush".
We will continue to speak up, we know it is our tradition and we also want to uphold it by keeping aside the blade.

How often do you go to your village?
For some people, it is very difficult to go back to their birth homes or villages, for some, every month they'll go home, for some, every weekend depending on how short the distance is.
Most people living the cities usually visit once evey Christmas, some never visit.
Depending on the circumstances they find themselves, some will tell you, my father will not allow us to go visit the village for fear of ABC. Maybe 70% of us living in the cities come from villages (upline) as we call it in krio, well I am not a data expert.. maybe Meraki Analytics SL will help us some day with that data.
Anyways..back to the topic:
Some people actually will like going back, but because they don't have enough money they think it is not worth going back with empty hand, but if u say u dae fala dat, u go fasin n nor ever go back na you village.
Some actually kin go wae dem parents dem dae alive, but what happens when they pass away? Village abandoned? No more visit? What of visiting your parents grave once in a while?
What of his plantation legacy? Oh! Now we dae try for build we yone for we sef and bush go kill dae plantation? Years of papa e struggle don fade out?
It is actually good going back home to the memories of your late parents.
Few years ago, whenever I visit my village, one mammy kin always cry, say e pikin don abandoned am n nor de kam na village again. Sometimes they just want to see you visiting, so duya una try for de visit una village dem even if you parents dem don pass away.
Una tenky!
