The KEENers + VentureOut spent yesterday afternoon at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii), digging into what’s actually happening behind AI in the workplace.

From how large language models think to what makes an effective prompt, we left with new tricks and an inspired team ready to explore!

Big thanks to Ayman Qroon and the Amii team for the insights and hospitality.

Now onto the fun part: putting it into practice!

Our VP of Marketing, Nicole Medeiros (Nic), recently attended the "Real World Edge" mixer event at the NAIT Mawji Centre. As a regular student mentor, Nic is passionate about bridging the gap between industry and education.

It was an incredible evening supporting student entrepreneurs and catching the Industry Mixer panel. A huge shoutout to Ally Stone ( ) and Tanya Zurock ( ) for sharing such intriguing experiences and "real world" insights to entrepreneurship.

The KEENers recently stepped away from the daily grind for our annual two-day Hackathon! 🧑‍💻⚡️

From streamlining internal processes to stress-testing new GPT systems, the team's output in just two days was incredible.

The purpose of our hackathon? To give our crew the space to explore wild ideas and new tech that doesn't always fit into the weekly schedule. Innovation requires room to breathe! 🤖
