My oldest turned 16 today. Not entirely sure how 16 years have flown by so fast. Happy birthday Oliver!!! Watching you grow up is truly a privilege and I’m so lucky I get to be your mom. We all love you so much! Or as you used to say when you were much smaller “I love you to the four gas giants and back”

To say that I’m proud of Elliot and Amelia would be a massive understatement. They both competed this weekend at the Long & McQuade Regina Music festival. They worked so hard and they played so well. I love that they love music so much and that I get to be a part of their musical journey. Watching them perform fills my heart. I’m so lucky. Shout out to .beer for teaching them and encouraging them all year long (bestest teacher ever).

So, the new song I have coming out on May 1st is called Butter. I originally posted about another new track called Try It, that one is coming out in June! I’ve got so much new music coming out this year (16 new songs!) that even I’m getting confused…. So let’s try this again shall we?

Butter is a smooth, 70s inspired groove that celebrates the creamy staple in everyone’s kitchen. With funky bass lines, sunny melodies, and playful lyrics, it’s the kind of feel-good track that gets kids (and parents) moving. Think Sesame Street meets Stevie Wonder - perfect for morning dance parties, road trips, and snack time singalongs.
