Congratulations to Rory Carroll, Senior Project Manager, on being named one of On-Site Magazine’s 2026 Top 40 Under 40—recognizing the next generation of leaders making an impact across Canada’s construction industry.

A professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience, Rory has helped deliver complex healthcare and institutional projects across Alberta. Today, he plays a key leadership role in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Redevelopment, leading delivery of the project’s 200-bed inpatient tower.

Rory is a strong advocate for Lean construction, continuous improvement, and collaborative delivery. His commitment extends beyond our projects through his involvement on the Edmonton Construction Association Board of Directors, where he helps strengthen connections across the industry.

Congratulations, Rory, on this well-deserved recognition and the impact you continue to have on Clark Builders and across our industry!

As construction progresses, the City of Kamloops is reporting that the project’s risk register is currently forecast to be approximately $5 million under budget, supported by favourable tender results and the successful retirement of several project risks.

A key contributor is the project’s Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model. By bringing the owner, designers, Clark Builders, and major trade partners together early, the team can collectively manage design, procurement, construction sequencing, productivity, and risk—creating greater certainty while protecting scope, quality, and performance.

With excavation and shoring nearing completion, the project is now preparing to transition from complex groundwork to the visible construction of the building itself.

We’re proud to bring our IPD experience to this collaborative team and continue applying Lean practices, integrated preconstruction, and lessons learned across our portfolio to deliver value for our clients and communities.

Our team had a great time hitting the links in support of the Town of Edson Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament!

The tournament brought the community together for a great day of golf while raising funds for the Community Care Foundation of Edson and District.

Proceeds will support the Foundation’s efforts to bring a CT scanner to the Edson region, helping improve diagnostic services for patients and families.

As builders of the YCE Multiplex and sponsors of the annual golf tournament, we’re grateful for the opportunity to work in the Edson community and contribute to initiatives that benefit the people who call the region home.
