Everyone Thinks Metabolic Syndrome is a “rare condition” that only applies to those who are obese.
There are now more people who are obese than people who are undernourished.

Those who are normal weight will show symptoms of insulin resistance before obesity occurs.

Why Doctors Won’t Heal Your Disease👇🏽
When I was 24, I felt like a 90 year old and no doctor seemed to know how to help me.
I was frustrated with doctors. Aren’t they supposed to know everything?
The reality is, doctors know about diagnosis and medicating. Period.
Metabolic syndrome is UNDIAGNOSABLE. In other words, doctors don’t know how to heal symptoms.
They can only medicate or wait until you’re unhealthy enough to medicate you.

How I Stopped my Chronic Bloating👇🏽
Chronic bloating is symptom of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)
After years of taking antibiotics, NSAIDS and birth control, my gut never felt 100%

I’m seeing a lot of women expecting doctors to have answers.
Doctors know about diagnosis and medication, period.
Trusting doctors with our health is how we got to where we are: diseased and confused.
I am the prime example: I was young, had multiple symptoms but no diagnosis and confused every doctor I saw.
The damage we create to our body by believing doctors need to heal us is evident. 𝟽𝟶% 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘴.

3 Messages You Don’t Want to Ignore from Abdominal Bloating:
I was bloated 24/7 from age 17-25.
It took quite a few “signals” in the form of joint pain, anxiety, and weight gain for me to finally get the message.
When you listen early symptoms like bloating, disease can be prevented.
What bloating is saying:
1. You do not feel safe.
Something about your environment is causing the neurons in your gut to perceive a threat. This is a time for down regulating (deep breathing, address emotions, quiet time, self reflection)
2. Something you’re eating is causing GI inflammation.
The gut cannot absorb nutrients if your diet has emulsifiers, sugar, processed seed oils, pesticides and hormones. Eat smaller, less frequent meals and stick to meat, fruit and veggies to lower inflammation.
3. You’re overdoing it.
High Intensity Exercise, food, and mental exertion all cause an inflammatory response from the body. When you aren’t resting, you can’t resolve inflammation. Bloating is a sign to do less and embrace rest.
Instead of feeling shame about bloating, see it as a permission slip from your body to rest and reflect.

Labelling healthy eating as restrictive doesn’t make sense.
We live in a world where food is abundant. That means options.
You wouldn’t eat food that doesn’t align with your value of yourself.
Just like you wouldn’t travel to countries you don’t want to visit.
The most self-loving act is to abstain from things that cause us harm.
We do this for alcohol, drugs, toxic relationships and entertainment.
Processed food causes harm. Period.

Everyone Thinks Symptoms Are Normal.
The truth is, they are 𝘊𝘖𝘔𝘔𝘖𝘕 not 𝘕𝘖𝘙𝘔𝘈𝘓.
I spent almost my entire adolescence and early 20’s being a victim because I thought I was a lost cause.
At 23 I was suffering from severe joint pain, anxiety and weight gain. I felt like a prisoner in my own body.
I saw multiple doctors and felt completely hopeless.
The moment that changed everything was in the emergency room.
I thought “what am I doing here lol”
From that point on, I became obsessed with functional nutrition, neuroscience, metabolism, and anything I could get my hands on that would help me take control and regain my power.
As soon as a I stopped fighting 𝘈𝘎𝘈𝘐𝘕𝘚𝘛 my symptoms and started 𝘓𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘕𝘐𝘕𝘎, I got better.
