Heavy wind kept blowing a commercial front door open during business hours. The only piece of hardware on it: a flip-up bolt, meant for end of night.

A heavier closer wouldn't have addressed the wind. Using the bolt during the workday wasn't an option either, that locks out the customers we want walking in.

So we built around what was actually happening. The hardware we added holds the door against wind pressure, but it doesn't bolt anything down. Customers push through and walk in like nothing changed. The flip-up bolt still does its job at close, exactly as before.

If a door problem exists, a solution does too.
