Paintearth Adult Learning is thrilled to announce that Kaye Hauck has been awarded an Honorary Diploma from NorQuest College! An honorary diploma recognizes distinguished individuals who have made extraordinary achievements, performed a service or who have had a transformational impact on the college or wider society.

Kaye was nominated earlier this year, and was recently informed that she is among 3 recipients. "Over 42 years, she taught all grades, served as a Principal, and took pride in establishing and leading Outreach Schools in Castor and Coronation. After retiring from teaching, Kaye embraced an exciting new role: Manager of Paintearth Adult Learning. It was there that she helped build a strong partnership with NorQuest, bringing the Health Care Aide and Practical Nurse programs to Castor through the NorQuest Mobile Lab and expanding local training opportunities".

We are so proud of the hard work Kaye has put into bringing these healthcare courses to our local communities. From Kindergarten to post-secondary, she has truly embraced the "lifelong learning" aspect of our mission statement.

Congratulations Kaye!

And just like that, the Literacy & Learning Symposium has come to an end.

Lois attended a session on 'AI in the classroom' and updates from the provincial government, and Zeena took in a session on neurodivergence and extending programs into the community. We heard from inspiring adult learners and celebrated the incredible impact CALPs make in our communities.

Now, we’re back at the office today, feeling inspired by the conversations and connections from the past couple days.
