Veneto Custom Homes
Your ideas, your imagination, your creativity can all be a reality. The owners of Veneto Homes are hands on and on-site for every home being developed.
We keep the relationship with our clients transparent and open at all times. You can be as involved in the home building process as you feel comfortable with. We offer a two or ten year progressive new home warranty with all our homes!
Meeting the client for their first walk through of their home is something that never gets old.
We have been talking about the home for months. Every detail. They think they know what to expect
But the moment the home is off the paper and they can actually come inside. It’s magical. The look on their faces is why we do this.
What would be going through your mind in that moment? Tell us in the comments.
We will never get used to this.
Everyone sees a beautifully finished home. We all scroll realtor.ca and save design inspirations from Pinterest.
But who gets to see the bones of a custom home before it all gets tucked away?
You do! Because we are sharing how much goes behind those beautiful walls. From the framing to the wiring to the plumbing. There is so much happening that no one EVER sees.
This is what intentional building looks like from the inside out. It’s so much more than what the eye can see.
Thinking about building? Let’s talk about what goes into yours. Drop a comment or send us a message to get started.
Something most builders would dread to hear.
But it wasn’t the structure or the layout.
It was where their digital family calendar was going to live.
The thing that keeps the entire family organized. Where the whole family checks in every morning, sees what’s happening, stays connected. And standing there in the frame was the lightbulb about where it should live.
So we stopped. We looked at it together. And before we left that site, our electrical team had already adjusted the plan — moving things around so the calendar had exactly the space it needed, without a single outlet or switch getting in the way.
That’s the thing about site walkthroughs. You can’t catch that on a blueprint. You can’t feel it in a 3D render.
You feel it when you’re standing in the room.
This is why we walk every build with our clients. Not just at the start. Not just at the end. Throughout because that’s what building a custom home is.
Custom.
Have you ever caught something in person that you never would have noticed on paper?
The house has left the page.
This is always one of our favourite stages.
A blueprint is one thing.
But being able to see it in front of you. 👌
When we take on an infill project, we’re not just building a home...
We’re stepping into an existing neighbourhood.
One with mature trees, established character, and people who’ve called it home for years.
That means following the rules. Respecting the bylaws. And honestly? Going beyond them when we can.
→ Protected trees stay protected
→ Fencing goes up before a single shovel hits the ground
→ Keeping the site clean and free of debris
→ The neighbourhood feels the same when we leave as it did when we arrived
A new home should add to a community not take from it.
That’s how we build. 🌳

That feeling has a name.
It’s intentional design.
It’s asking why before deciding what.
It’s choosing details that serve your life, not just a floor plan.
It’s starting at the beginning not the end.
What’s one thing you would include if you could build a home from scratch?
