I'm so excited! As we're getting ready to launch the self-guided version of Executor School, I thought it might be time to officially reveal the new logo.
My passion is for learning and facilitating learning, and I am a voracious reader, so books seemed like a natural fit.
A colleague also recently described me as sweet but with a very dark sense of humour, hence the winky skull. 😜
Branding is meant to reflect our values, and for me, learning, while not taking myself too seriously, is what I'm all about.
Oh, and death and dying. 💀 Did I mention that bit? I really do believe in better living through death education. Enjoy your life. Remember it's finite. ❤️

"Do you ever wonder how much you exist in other people's lives? I'm always curious if people think of me when a certain song comes on, or when they pass through a certain town. I wonder how many stories I've been part of that I may have forgotten. I wonder if I still exist in the minds of people that I don't speak to anymore. I wonder how many times a day I pass through someone's head."
Death is not the end. You still think of them, and they will likely still think of you. Memento mori. You are loved. ♥️💀

In honour of International Women's Day, I’d like to share something important to me.
It’s okay to call a girl/woman pretty. Or even beautiful. Everyone loves a compliment. But don't lead with it. It sets up the expectation that attractiveness is the most important quality an individual can possess.
Instead, try greeting her by focusing on her presence. Compliment her confidence, her poise, her attitude, her creativity. If you’re starting a statement with “You look...” why not end it with “...like you could conquer anything today!”
If you genuinely love her fashion vibe, tell her why. Is it her colour choice, her personal style? Don’t make it about how it makes her look “pretty.”
Pretty fades, self-confidence is a life skill. She needs that more, no matter what her age. ♥️
Embracing mortality is a choice. ♥️

What would you like to provide in your exit package?
POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE | Edmonton Journal In a stack of mail on his dining room table, Jason Snape spotted a postcard from his former college professor. In clean, Helvetica type, it read: “If you're reading this I'm dead, and I really liked you.” Next to the message was a selfie of...
What kind of urn would you like. If you were planning on getting cremated, that is. ♥️💀♥️
