We felt it was about time that the kittens finally had a proper introduction here on instagram! These new kittens joined us here at the Whyte avenue location after the decision had been made to have Fleur enter retirement. Fleur had worked within the store for many years and was ready for the slow way of life that retirement can bring. She’s deeply missed around the store but living a happy life in her new home!
The kittens have been loving life here at the Wee Book Inn since joining four months ago. They’re friendly and playful, loving small gentle pets; we ask no picking up or crowding the kittens. The smaller of the two is Belle, she has two eyes and her colouring is more on the grey side than her sister. Yvan is larger and has colouring more similar to her predecessor; she also has only one eye due to a kitten incident very early in her life.
We love the energy that the kittens bring to the shop! If you haven’t had the chance to see them yet we highly recommend coming and visiting. Find your next perfect read and have the joy of seeing just how cute these girls are in person!

The Wee Book Inn is ready to get cozy! This evening is the WinterCity Book Flood. Both of our locations will be participating in the festivities! Come in this evening from 4 pm to 9 pm for some great deals, we’ll be giving all shoppers 10% off all purchases or 20% off when grabbing some coffee as well as other products. October is here! Now that we’ve entered the halloween season we wanted to bring a little fear to the Wee Book Inn. Our feature display this month is all things spooky! We’ve also created a dedicated table to just horror dvds! If you love horror as much as we do come swing by and see if anything peaks your fancy!
