We were proud to be Bronze Sponsors at the Kiewit Golf Classic in Vancouver yesterday.
Our Director, Geotechnical Division and Director of Business Development had a fantastic day on the course alongside our valued partners at Kiewit — building connections, sharing great conversations, and enjoying some friendly competition.
A great event supporting a great cause. Thanks to Kiewit for having us — we’re already looking forward to next year.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SAFETY PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS!
With wildlife activity increasing across our worksites this time of year, we launched a Wildlife Awareness Photo Contest to highlight what our teams are seeing in the field—and reinforce the importance of staying alert and safety-focused.
We asked employees to share their best wildlife encounters along with a safety message, and the response did not disappoint. After careful deliberation (and a lot of laughs), we’re excited to announce our top three:
🥇 Michael Dingman – Edmonton
🥈 Phillip Piercey – Fort McMurray
🥉 Kyle Gamache – Edmonton
Each submission captured not only the environments we work in, but also the shared responsibility we have to stay aware and respect wildlife on every site. We’ll be sharing some of the honourable mentions throughout the coming weeks! Great work to everyone who participated!

Real expertise is built in the field—where conditions are complex, timelines are tight, and precision matters.
Our team was recently on site in Fort McMurray, drilling through gypsum formations—conditions that require precision, experience, and the ability to adapt in real time. Projects like this are where our geotechnical expertise comes to life—supporting safe design, informed decisions, and successful construction from the ground up.

Another project. Another mobile lab rolling out!
Demand for LN’s material testing services continues to grow — and we’re scaling to meet it. This unit is on its way to support another project requiring on-site testing capability without compromise.
When timelines are tight, proximity matters and our labs can be deployed to any project location across Canada.

Misty mornings on the coast set the stage—but it’s the expertise behind the work that matters.

Today, we take a moment to celebrate mothers — in all the ways they show up in our lives. We wish you a wonderful Mother’s Day.

Today, we honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people whose lives were taken far too soon. The red dress has become a powerful symbol of those who are missing, of families who continue to grieve, and of communities who continue to call for justice and change.
We stand in reflection, remembrance, and solidarity — and reaffirm our commitment to listening, learning, and supporting Indigenous communities, today and every day.

Nothing beats seeing our crews in action!
Our Geotechnical team was recently out in Timberlea, Fort McMurray, completing another geotechnical investigation; this one in support of a new soccer turf project for the community.
From drilling to testing, this work is all about getting the ground conditions right from the start to help create safe, long-lasting community spaces.

Yesterday, the LN team once again had the opportunity to take part in the Enoch First Nation Career Fair — an event we’re proud to support and attend year after year.
Returning annually matters to us. It reflects our commitment to showing up consistently, building familiarity, and being part of long‑term conversations about careers in surveying, geotechnical services, utility locating, and project support. These events aren’t just about current openings; they’re about sharing insight into career development, training, and the many pathways available within our industry.
We appreciate Enoch First Nation for continuing to host a well‑run, impactful career fair and for welcoming repeat participation from industry partners like LN. The relationships built through consistency and trust are what make these connections meaningful.
