We are seeking a Topman/ Topwoman for water and sewer construction.

Position Summary

Reporting to the project Foreman/ Forewoman, this position will assist the crews to perform all water and sewer activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Shoot grade with transit
• Direct and signal heavy equipment operators
• Install and repair a variety of water and sewer lines
• Perform manual and labour intensive tasks as assigned
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Level top surface according to grade and depth specification
• Read and interpret drawings
• Load and unload tools, materials and equipment
• Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
• Direct traffic as required

Qualifications Include:

1. Must be able to pass a pre access and random drug and alcohol test
2. 2-5 years’ experience in water main and sewer construction primarily as Topman
3. Must have valid CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015, Confined space monitor/Entry and Fall Protection
4. Solid understanding of applicable environmental and OHS regulations
5. Rigging, hoisting and crane signaling experience is an asset
6. Hard working
7. Positive attitude
8. Willingness to learn
9. Desire to complete tasks in a timely manner
10. Preference will be given to candidates with a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

We are seeking Pipelayers for water and sewer construction. This is not a pipefitter or plumbing position.

Position Summary

Reporting to the project Foreman, this position will assist to perform all water and sewer activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Physically demanding work. Cutting pipe, lowering pipe into trenches and performing manual labour when required
• Assist in aligning pipes during water main and sewer construction
• Load and unload tools, materials and equipment
• Mix, pour and concrete
• Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
• Signal and direct equipment operators

Qualifications Include:
1. Ability to work in all weather conditions
2. 2-5 years’ experience in water main and sewer construction
3. Must have valid CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Confined space monitor/entry and Fall Protection
4. Hard working and positive attitude
5. Preference will be given to candidates with a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

Labourers are key players on our projects- you will perform activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lifting 50 Lbs. plus
• Dig trench in preparation for pipelayers
• Load and unload tools, equipment and materials
• Mix, pour and cut concrete
• Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
• Perform manual and physically demanding labour as assigned
• Setting up trench shoring
• Signal and direct equipment operators
• Direct traffic as required

Qualifications Include:
1. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST
2. Minimum 1 years experience in construction primarily as a labourer
3. Must have valid CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015, Confined space monitor/Entry and Fall Protection
4. Hard working and positive attitude
5. Willingness to learn and work with live water and sewer lines
6. Desire to complete tasks in a timely manner
7. Preference will be given to candidates with a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
