3) Make a list of your must-haves versus your nice-to-haves. You could likely do without all the bells and whistles of the highest trim level in favour of a mid-level trim if it means sticking to your budget.

All car salespeople work on commission, and it’s important for their own paycheque and for the dealership to hit monthly targets set out by the dealer principal or even the manufacturer.

The real answer to this question is: the right time to buy a car is when you need to, and when you can best afford to. If you have the time luxury to shop around for deal, however, we do recommend starting the process in the last two weeks of the month to allow time for test drives, negotiation, and signing the deal before the first of the next month. 📆
