What happens when two pharmaceutical shipments follow the same temperature requirement but use different transport solutions?
We compared a standard re**er with BBE’s temperature-controlled unit over a 3-day transit (15–25°C requirement).
💡 Key takeaway:
The standard re**er dropped below freezing, while the BBE unit stayed fully in range throughout.
For pharma logistics, that difference directly impacts product integrity, GDP compliance, and patient safety.

Northern Infrastructure Is About More Than Transportation
When discussions turn to northern infrastructure, the conversation often focuses on roads, airstrips, or construction projects.
But those assets are really about something much bigger.
They're about access.
Access to healthcare.
Access to education.
Access to economic opportunity.
Access to family, community, and essential services.
One of the things we appreciate most about working in northern and remote regions is seeing firsthand how infrastructure connects people to possibilities. This is why we're proud to partner with BBE to help remote communities flourish.
The technical challenges are significant. The impact of getting it right is even greater.

BBE is proud to represent the Arctic Defence Logistics Platform next week in Inuvik with our Indigenous partner, IBX (Inuvialuit Regional Corporation).
The 2026 Arctic Development Expo will focus on “Arctic Security – A Shared Responsibility,” with discussions spanning northern leadership, Indigenous leadership, defence operations, military infrastructure, cyber preparedness, drones, satellite sites, skills development, and economic development for Arctic security.
BBE’s role is to help connect strategy to ex*****on. Working with IBX, we are focused on supporting an Arctic logistics model that strengthens readiness while creating meaningful participation for Indigenous and northern communities.

Thank you to the Det'on Cho Group of Companies team for the opportunity to collaborate at and help introduce the Arctic Defence Logistics Platform.
Canada’s North requires trusted partnerships, local knowledge, operational experience, and coordinated logistics capability. Through ADLP, we’re proud to support a model that brings together Indigenous leadership, northern expertise, and practical logistics solutions to help organizations operate effectively in Arctic environments.
We appreciate the teamwork between our two companies and look forward to continuing to build capability, opportunity, and long-term readiness across the North together.

BBE had the pleasure of supporting AdaptAbilities at their annual fundraiser this morning! BBE's financial support helps the organization provide essential, goal-directed respite care, life skills training, and inclusive social programs for families and participants. The Founder of Adaptabilities, Michelle Hordal, made a statement that they are not a 'not for profit' program, but they are a 'for impact program' which really hits home to us.
Adaptabilities offers various services, including center-based group programs, in-home services, and summer camps for kids and adults living with visible and invisible disabilities. Learn more https://adaptabilities.ca/

We appreciate being mentioned in Cabin Radio’s recent article featuring Minister Mélanie Joly's visit around Arctic defence readiness and northern infrastructure planning.
The piece highlights the growing importance of coordinated logistics capability across the North and references BBE’s involvement in initiatives including the Arctic Defence Logistics Platform.
As Arctic investment and defence initiatives continue to grow, reliable northern logistics, regional partnerships, and operational experience will play a critical role in supporting Canada’s northern supply chains.
We’re proud to be part of the conversation shaping the future of Arctic logistics in Canada.

Canada’s defence conversation is evolving and logistics is now central to it. As investment and procurement accelerate in the North, the real challenge is ensuring supply chains can operate securely and reliably in remote, regulated, and high-risk environments.
This is where defence logistics has fundamentally changed. It’s no longer about just moving freight but instead about enabling readiness through compliance, visibility, and ex*****on in places where failure isn’t an option.
At BBE, we support defence organizations and contractors with secure, mission-ready logistics across Canada, including northern and Arctic regions.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day challenges us to think differently about progress.
At BBE, “Give to Gain” means giving space to different perspectives in operational planning.
• Giving opportunity to emerging leaders.
• Giving respect to lived experience in remote and Indigenous communities.
• Giving trust to women and underrepresented professionals in high-accountability roles.
Because what we gain is better decision-making.
Stronger risk mitigation.
Smarter contingency planning.
Better outcomes for our clients.
Diversity in logistics is about what delivers the highest performance.
When projects operate in extreme climates and complex regulatory environments, diversity of thought becomes a competitive advantage.
We’re proud to see more voices shaping the future of our industry and we’re committed to contributing to that progress.

Some companies sell freight.
We build solutions where failure isn’t an option.
BBE is expanding our Business Development team and looking for a sales professional with expertise in International Freight Forwarding and/or Customs Brokerage.
If you understand that customs clearance is risk management, that global freight is orchestration, not paperwork, and that long-term partnerships outperform transactional pricing, you’ll fit here!
This role focuses on building resilient, high-trust relationships in complex, regulated, and high-consequence environments.
We’re looking for commercial discipline, structured pipeline management, and someone who takes ownership from first conversation to full implementation.
