​​𝗖𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘁. 𝗠𝗛 🌿🌿🌿 Some know ​​her as a medicine woman, herbalist, nature enthusiast, and owner of Inspired by Nature. She's a mother of two and currently resides on Treaty 6 territory in Lacombe, Alberta. ​ Crystal is from Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, and is called "Talk's with the Forest". "I am a knowledge keeper of my people, the Athabasca Chipewyan and Mikisew Cree First Nations." Crystal's knowledge of plant medicine began watching the elders in her community collect and store roots, plants, and berries for their daily living. They lived a simple life of fishing, hunting, and gathering food. In 2009 Crystal stumbled upon Wild Rose College of Natural Healing. At this time she was a welding specialist in Red Deer, Alberta, and about to go on maternity leave. She was so excited to learn that there was an entire college dedicated to a deep passion of hers. Upon taking “a” course or “two”, it didn’t take long for her to decide she wanted to completely change her career path and become a herbalist. With the support of her friends and family, she decided to become a “medicine woman with a diploma”. Crystal studied with Dr. Terry Willard, Blaine Andrusek and so many more. "I did my practicum with Dr. Willard and graduated as a Master Herbalist in 2011. Not only did I learn about the science behind the plant medicine I grew up with, but I also had the opportunity to learn about plant medicine from all over the world." ​"As a Medicine Woman in today’s world, I am lucky to combine the wisdom handed down to me from my Ancestors and the formal training I received from College.
