Beautiful, sunny (and a little windy!) but what a perfect day!

We were so happy to be part of an amazing wedding yesterday at Lake Summerside Beach House! Congratulations to Judy & Grant! Great floral decor from Cerise, terrific food (as always) from Bridges Catering and wonderful sunshine helped make this a perfect day!

Love the pictures from our featured tablescape at Special Event Rentals ... we were inspired by a summer solstice wedding and thought what a wonderful way to spend the longest day of the year! Imagine a late afternoon wedding on the rooftop of a Manhattan apartment tower overlooking Central Park. Then add an intimate French bistro dinner (menu inspired by Les Halles), table decor that simulates a city of skyscrapers, and an eco-friendly celebration.

Guest favours - printed on 80% post-consumer recycled paper with vegetable inks - serve as Thank You's and offer a pressed paper 'flower' that will grow wildflowers when planted. The menu includes amazing appetizers, vegetarian entree options, and elegant desserts. Signature drinks: Manhattan cocktails for him and Cosmopolitan cocktails for her, then champagne cocktails all around.

Colours were modern and FRESH, contrasted by crisp black and white stripes and circles. Art decor style print highlights the stationary, mini lights strung around the patio provide wonderful ambiance.
