When you find a great card recipe that uses up random patterned paper and ribbons, make lots of them!!! I have been using this simple recipe for a few months and I love changing up the colours to suit the season. Which colour combo is your favorite?

There is something new taking over my craft desk this week… my first attempt at a Book Nook! What a project! This is definitely more challenging than Lego and I’m amazed every time the pieces fit together. There are so many details and pieces - so far I have wrapped 18 tiny presents!! I’m hoping to be done this week so I can get back to cards soon.

For friends and family at Christmas I like to send one of my handmade cards and include a family photo. Up until this year I was also writing a message in the card which is secretly my least favourite activity to do - I dread it every year!!

This Canada Post strike is putting a bit of a wrinkle in my holiday card plans. On the one hand I’m sad I won’t be sending out Christmas cards to friends and family outside of the city, but on the other hand I’m glad I don’t t have to do all the work to mail out cards!! This makes my Christmas to-do list a lot shorter!

Christmas card season is upon us!! I like to get my cards written and ready to mail by the end of November so I don’t have to worry about it in December! Do you still send out Christmas cards to friends and family? I love receiving them so I will continue to be old fashioned and mail out cards! 💕💕
