We wanted to share a bit with you about who we are and where we came from and where we are going. We met online 5 years ago, it was truly love at first sight... cheezy I know I know.. lol but it really was, we met and have spent every possible minute together since then! We met, 6 months later Bryan asked me to move in with him, 3 months later we moved into our first house and soon decided we needed to fill that extra bedroom. ;) And along came that handsome little fella up above. He is our absolute world.
Thing is, before we had our son, we always talked about how we were both were workaholics! I was an event and restaurant manager, (evenings and weekends) and Bryan is a mobile crane operator... (shiftwork) we made it work and had a TON of fun when we were off, and the money was flowing! lol... young and free and few responsibilities....
But we realized when we had our son that there was so much more in life than just working and playing, we were sick of the grind and neither of us wanted to miss out on one single day of our sons life. We LOVE spending time with our little wee man, but its getting harder and harder on him (he just turned three and a half) and he wonders where Daddy is all the time while he is away at camp working.... two out of three weeks.
