Wind and rain today, but there still isn’t a better place to be. 🌧️🫎

The weather doesn’t always cooperate, but that’s all part of moose camp. Wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else.

Day 5 of 30 — Camp #2

Main structures are up and camp is taking shape. Now it’s time to tidy everything up and get out scouting.

Won’t be long now until the hunters arrive. Moose season is getting close!

Looks like the bulls are out of velvet now. Everything’s happening right on schedule — fall is coming, the rut is getting closer, and moose camp is about to get interesting.

Day 4 of 30 — Moose Camp 🫎

The boys got on the trapline last night and did some damage! 😂 The cook tent should be mouse-free shortly.

Day 3 of 30 First permanent floor of the season is down at our Peace River moose camp!

Tate’s putting the final touches on everything before our hunters arrive on the 23rd. It’s a bit of a chilly morning out here today, but camp is coming together and we’re looking forward to the upgrades we’ll be making in the years ahead.

One improvement at a time. Won’t be long now until the hunters are in camp and the bulls start talking. 🫎

Day 2 of 30.

No picture of the coffee this morning. This is the first bull I’ve had on camera this year with a lot of velvet rubbed off.

This old bu**er’s been on the trail for a few years now. Maybe this is his year.
