Made it down to Metis Child and Family Services and delivered my donations, such a great feeling and they were so happy to get them. In honor of my Father and husband, many family members and in-laws. Happy birthday Dad, I hope you are proud.💞

Tansi, I know it's been awhile, but I have been working on a project, and I am now ready to share with you all. It's called A Bridge Back Home, it's in honor of my Father, Husband, Uncles, Aunties, Mother in law and so many more who were traumatized by the Residential School System. The intergenerational impact still has us reeling and many are caught in vicious cycles of abuse. There are too many of our children are in foster care and have been disconnected from their families and communities. I want them to know we care and will be here for them when they come back home.

I am partnering with The Metis Child and Family Services this fall and I am gifting the children in care the following: 14 Ribbon Skirts ( hopefully 20 by Wednesday), 39 Dreamcatchers, 20 mini medallions, Earrings (3prs), 4 Beaded Barrettes, 4 Beaded Pop Sockets, 2 adult medallions. (Total value $2,800.00)

My hope is that the children can connect with us through these gifts and be reminded that they belong to a Nation of Proud People. I will be making my first contribution on Tuesday or Wednesday coinciding with my Father's birthday, and I will post pictures of the gifting. Thank you for your support.
