Rare wet rainy days for late October... Besides saying "stay safe and drive safe" and having fun for Halloween remember to budget for proper tires. It is basic vehicle ownership, maintenance, and responsibility. Most importantly it has an impact on other people's safety! There has been an increasing amount of accidents this past week when it's not even snowing yet and it's because of old or worn out tires.

Tires don't have to be bald to be ineffective. Many friends may have driven less due to covid but tire age and wear is not something everyone can easily identify. Customer brought vehicle in due to oil drips found on the driveway. Upon inspection it was discovered it was a result of one of those quick "10 minute" l**e shop the customer previously went to for an oil change. After draining, the drain plug was forcibly tightened into the ALUMINUM oil pan thus stripping its thread.

There's a reason for everything. Sometimes some things cost the way they do because that is how much it costs for that level of work... Photos show the aftermath compared to what "normal" looks like.
