a hard hit to the heart yesterday after Astral Harvest announced they won't be returning next year. basically growing up at this festival, it's hard to think about when and if they'll bring the magical event back. i've taken away so many amazing moments, friendships, and opportunities from this little festival.

here's to the community that never quits. the sunrise flails. afternoon cat naps under the interstellevator. line up friendships. eggs benny crepes. morning stretches. cuddle puddles galore. the best hugs in the world. pie parades. free pancakes. thunderstorm interruptions. mud baths. and to all the people who've made this festival what it is, the artists, the organizers, the builders, the volunteers. astral harvest will always be home.

from the looks of it everyone had a pretty muddy summer. happy to have been in the vancouver sun these few months, but sad I missed out on goopy shenanigans. at least I had this mud moment captured.
