Happy (belated) New Year!

2024 was a wild, and probably one of the most professionally satisfying year for me!! So many new challenges, experiences that forced me to dig deep into my comms brain and work faster and better!

Truly grateful for 2024 and the chaotic, but amazing, energy it brought.

2025 looks to be bringing in new challenges and opportunities and so here’s to creating new paths, working hard, learning from amazing Edmontonians and spending time with our favourite people!

May long weekend means that summer is here right?

Took a trip to Waterton this weekend and it definitely felt like everyone was summer ready & summer tourism is ready to go!

Friday night was KidSport Edmonton] night. Had the pleasure to join as part of the and team for the Roast Of Joaquin Gage!!

Was such a great night to raise lots of moolah for kids for whom the cost associated with community sports is prohibitive!

Many great initiatives by the & KidSport Edmonton] team coming down the pipe including the Hockey Assist Program which pays for the FULL registration cost for kids to play hockey in Oil Country funded by 🏒

Female founded, female led with amazing female professionals that we collaborate with everyday.

Happy International Women’s Day! Can you imagine a world where women weren’t involved in your daily life? It’s preposterous to think how the world ran without female leadership.

Working with has definitely been a career highlight and getting up close with farms and learning how they do what they do has been fascinating.

Hi, I’m Nicola and I’m the person that runs this account. The founder of Collective Marketing (formally Cultivate Digital) & this is me without my glasses on.

I’ve been working in social media, influencer relations and public relations in all kinds of capacities for almost 10 years working with local and national brands. Currently I’m working away on getting the marketing set up for 2022 & working closely with the legend that is with

I’m one of the founding members of , a collaborative blog promoting events and family activities in Alberta.

Meet Leigh Ann () 🔆

Leigh Ann Smith's career in marketing and social media extends over 15 years. A graduate of the University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Management Program she has been fortunate to work in a variety of industries and communities in her career. She has worked on developing marketing strategies, brand management, and developing and supporting social media for both large and small businesses.

Leigh Ann was fortunate to live and work in Fort McMurray from 2011 to 2017. She worked with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in Economic Development for almost three years. There she worked closely with all levels of government, regional organizations, and businesses when it came to economic development, regional marketing and tourism. She was heavily involved in the support and programming when it came to the re-entry and re-opening of businesses following the Fort McMurray fires in 2016.

You can find Leigh Ann behind her computer or looking at her phone, but in her free time her passion is seeking out local gems and every farmer's market she can find. She is a mum to two amazing kiddos and in her spare time, she likes to pretend she has a cooking show on her Instagram account.

I would like to formally announce the changes we have made over the last one million years.
After much (muuuuch) debate CDM has rebranded to Collective Marketing.
It’s been almost 9 years as Cultivate Digital and while Cultivate really does speak to what we did, the digital did not. We are involved in so much more than digital, although primarily it goes on web/social.
What we really do is work with others to create the brand story. Collectively.
There’s more to come but for now, check out the new website (thank you ) the kick ass new logo (thank you ) and some of the photos from the shoot with which I am OBSESSED with. And yes, we laughed like that throughout the 2 hour session. Thankful MacKenzie is so patient.

You get to work with amazing talented people who care about what they put out into the world.

I got to do that recently and there’s a few changes around here which are big for us, but small in the scheme of things.

When making these changes one of the coolest things was working with an all women team, collectively, to make this happen.

For Galentines Day, and the night before things change a tiny bit around here, would like to shout out to the women that helped out so much.
