“The bearded lady” more of bear 2 from the coast, here she’s protecting lunch from ravens that wanted a piece.

Bear number 2 from the knight inlet, this one was found on an island in the middle of the channel eating a harbour seal, nicknamed the bearded lady, this sow was well fed and on the move for more seal.

One of the many shots of coastal grizzly bears to come, their diet consists of salmon, various berries, crustations and muscles on the rocks and sedge grass in the tidal zones, was lucky enough to find 3 different bears in 3 different areas, all eating something different, This one was foraging and eating tons of grass.

A juvenile bald eagle patrols the inlet we visited, a branch only accessible by skiff off the knight inlet in British columbia Canada.

Another one for the books! Watched a pair of Pileated woodpe**ers carve out a cavity in this poplar tree during a walk, I would habe missed them if not for their very distinct call to one another. **er **er
