✔️ Income or tax proof (if applicable)

Lack of transaction history alone can justify a TRV refusal.

Express Entry- Category Based Draws 🇨🇦

For category based draws, IRCC requires 6 months of continuous full-time experience OR the part-time equivalent in the targeted occupation.

If you were studying full time in Canada and working part time (as permitted) in a category based occupation, that experience can count.

Key points:
• The requirement is 6 months full-time OR equivalent part time
• Student status does not exclude this experience.
• There is no requirement that the work be performed on a work permit
• Work must be paid, continuous, and in the targeted NOC

If you received an ITA under a category based draw, properly accumulated part time experience while studying does not disqualify you.
