Building Your Show Package
Led by: Lauren Brady

Ready to take your theatre project beyond a single performance? This practical workshop will guide artists through the essentials of creating a professional show package that can help your work tour, get programmed, and attract presenters, festivals, and collaborators. Whether you’re preparing for the Edmonton Fringe, Nextfest, or pitching future productions, you’ll learn how to present your show clearly and professionally so it has a stronger life beyond its premiere.

Dreaming of touring your work internationally? This workshop is designed for independent theatre and comedy artists who want to take their shows beyond their local scene and into major international festivals. 🪩 Meet the Ultra Violets Team! 🪩

Through a physical exploration of the ways q***r club culture, plant growth cycles, and sapphic intimacy intersect, ULTRA VIOLETS subverts our expectations of what q***r becoming looks like, and depicts this process as cause for celebration.

Set within a world that is part greenhouse, part underground dance club, this dance-theatre piece draws on the history of disco and plant life to propose a new perspective on what it means to grow into oneself.

We're so excited to have Ultra Violets at Expanse this year! You don't want to miss this show.

Cycle hits the festival!🚲

We’re wishing the Cycle team an incredible opening at Expanse 2026!

Created and performed by Andrew Ritchie, this high-energy, immersive performance puts audiences right in the middle of the action, exploring the rush, risk, and reality of life inside Canada’s cycling and gig-work culture.

Drawing from Ritchie’s own experience as a bike courier, Cycle turns movement, storytelling, and audience participation into a powerful look at the precarity and adrenaline of making a living on two wheels.

Strap in, start pedalling, and enjoy the ride. 🚲✨
